Health is a RIGHT

  • Health is a fundamental human right and indispensable for the exercise of all human rights.

  • From a rights perspective, health is understood as a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being, and not just the absence of illnesses or diseases.

  • It implies that all people without distinction can access a range of facilities, goods, services and conditions necessary to achieve the highest possible level of health.

Health as a right implies the enjoyment of a whole range of facilities, goods, services and conditions necessary to ensure that every person without distinction has access to the highest possible level of health that allows them to live with dignity.

To guarantee the right to health, we must consider
